The Law Career Convention (LCC) is an annual career fair hosted by the Law Society, University of Malaya (UM) to provide a platform for law students to meet prestigious law firms, corporate companies, non-governmental organization and other institutions to discover the prospects of working with them in the future.
The options to do attachment programs, chamber and build a successful career for a law student and a law graduate are endless. There are a spectrum of firms and companies that come in different sizes to choose from. Being young students, it can get a little confusing in making the ‘right’ decision for our future. The LCC empowers students with choices and opportunities.
At the same time, it gives the participating firms and companies the chance to rope in future assets for their respective firms. Firms are able to meet a pool of budding lawyers not only from UM but from various public and private universities as we aim to widely publicize our event.
This year, LCC will be on the 10th October 2009 at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya.
